Robert & Susan’s News and Notes:

Thank you to everyone that took the time to send
your thoughts and prayers to my friend, Keith.

I saw him last week and he asked me to tell each
of you “thank you.”

Coincidentally, PBS’s Frontline Program was all
about ALS last night. If you missed it, you can
watch it, online, at PBS.org.

This Week’s Christian Marriage Secrets Quote:

“I recently read that love is entirely a matter
of chemistry. That must be why my wife treats me
like toxic waste.”

This Week’s Sexual Relationship Tip:

“Ladies Choice….”

When I was in middle school, one of the most
exciting and frightening moments was when the DJ
at the roller rink announced…”It’s Ladies
Choice Skate!”

It was one of the few times in a young man’s life
where the pressure shifted from “Will I be
rejected?” to “Will I be asked to Skate?”

And, when I was asked to skate, it was a
wonderful and memorable experience.

Likewise, on those occasions when Sue goes out
of her way to initiate sex, it is a wonderful and
memorable experience. I would guess that it is a
similar feeling to how she feels when I do the
dishes without her asking! (Do not tell her I
said that!)

Seriously, though, ladies…go out of your way to
initiate sex. It is a wonderful gift to your
husband and I guarantee that he will appreciate
your thoughtfulness and reciprocate in some way
(maybe the dishes?).

“60 Years Headed to Forever…”
by Staci Stallings

Love is patient; love is kind. Love bears all
things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all thing. Love never fails. –1
Corinthians 13: 4,7-8

When I was a young impressionable child, I
remember going to a cousin’s 10 year wedding
anniversary celebration and thinking, “Wow, 10
years. That’s a long time.
